Psychosocial worker- Part time
Job Summary:
The Psychosocial workers provide psychosocial evaluation and confidential counseling to patients based on their diagnosis, length of stay and treatment plans , upon admission to the hospital a psychosocial worker visits the inpatients in the comfort of their rooms to ensure that the patients' welfare and psychosocial needs are met in the best way that can be provided.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Targeted patients in need for psychosocial support, assessment, reassessment and follow up.
- To properly identify and refer cases who are suspected to be victims of abuse and /or neglect.
- To do Screening , assessment and care of patients at risk for suicide.
- To perform case management.
- To serve as a committee member in the kidney transplantation committee.
- To provided psychosocial services to the employees.
Education / Licensure (essential minimum requirement)
- Bachelor degree in clinical psychology or psychology .
Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):
- 3 years professional experience in hospitals in a role of psychosocial officer including transplantation services.
