Our pediatric team is composed by neonatologists and pediatricians that work full time at Abdali Hospital. They are highly experienced, with significant international exposure. They look after all the health and diseases of children, including healthy development and prevention. They can refer to other specialists as needed.

Our full time ENT team looks after conditions of the ear, nose and throat, including those related to breathing, feeding and swallowing, voice and speech, the nose and sinuses, sleep, and head and neck anomalies. The team includes specialist services such as audiology assessment for babies and children, an allergy service and speech therapy. Our physicians include a Cochlear implant expert.

Orthopedic conditions in children & adolescents are unique because their bones, muscles and joints are still developing. Our team can treat all kinds of conditions, from general conditions of knee and hip shoulder and elbow, foot and ankle and spine, as well as genetic conditions. We have an expert scoliosis team.

Dr. Haidar Alfuqhaa

The pediatric cardiology service is led by a group of experienced and highly trained cardiologists and cardiac surgeons that can cover the whole spectrum of pediatric cardiac conditions, all the way from fetal assessment to treating congenital heart diseases. The key services include:

• Cardiology assessment, ECG, including cardiac radiology, echocardiography unlimited number of echocardiograms as needed for each patient pre and post operatively, and lab assessment and medical management and intraoperative TE Echocardiogram when indicated. Fetal echocardiography is also available for babies in case of suspected anomaly during gestation.
• Non-surgical treatment, including catherization treatment.
• Surgical treatment: including PICU, post-operative intensive cardiac care management.
• Cardiac rehabilitation: specialized in peds, as needed.

Dr. Laila altutanji, Dr. Ali Alhalabi

Abdali Hospital offers a unique level of diagnostic and treatment expertise for children with neurological conditions including movement disorders, muscular dystrophy, autism, epilepsy, concussion tumors, stroke and other neurological conditions. 

Our multidisciplinary team includes neurologists, neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists and a rehabilitation team including speech therapy, physiotherapists and occupational therapists who work closely together on the best possible outcomes for your child.

Our physicians have the expertise to evaluate and treat a wide variety of problems, including asthma, acute and chronic pulmonary infections, broncho-pulmonology, sleep-disordered breathing, chronic cough, cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary conditions.

Our multidisciplinary team includes respiratory therapists, intensivist and pediatric nurses to look after patients across all conditions.

Dr. Rasha Kakish

At Abdali Hospital our ophthalmology team includes a pediatric service that provide diagnostic consultations and medical and surgical management of children’s eye disorders. We have expertise in a range of areas, from strabismus surgery to pediatric neuro-ophthalmology, retinopathy of prematurity, vision screening and amblyopia treatment.

Dr. Ibrahim Saaidat

The dermatology service at Abdali Hospital has significant experience treating dermatology conditions common in children and teenagers, such as eczema and dermatitis, acne, moles, and warts. The service includes comprehensive diagnosis and medical treatment. The team is supported by a plastic surgeon with experience in children if any excisions are required.

Dr. Hanna Alnaasan

Abdali Hospital’s general surgery team has pediatric experience and can perform a diverse number of surgeries ranging from simple to advanced in complexity. The most common conditions include appendectomy, inguinal hernia repair, umbilical hernia repair, orchiopexy, cholecystectomy and gastrostomy tube, amongst others. Our surgeons, nurses, anesthetists have significant experience treating children during all stages of the treatment.
