Job Summary:
The Help Desk is responsible for providing first-line technical support to Abdali Hospital’s end-users. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the hospital’s computing environment by addressing user requests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining service levels for essential systems and applications. The Help Desk Engineer will utilize the IT Centralized Monitoring System to support end-users with access to email, directory services, file and print services, portal/intranet/internet services, network, and telephony. The primary objective is to minimize disruption to hospital operations and ensure that staff can effectively
carry out their duties.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  1. The Help Desk Engineer provides first-line technical support at Abdali Hospital, ensuring smooth operation of computing systems and resolving user issues. 
  2. Responsibilities include managing help desk interactions, troubleshooting, documenting solutions, and supporting IT implementation.   
  3. The role requires a computer-related degree, 1-3 years of experience, strong technical and customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure
     

Education / Licensure (essential minimum requirement)

  • Bachelor degree in computer fields.
  • Certifications in the related field are preferable.

Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):

  • 1-3 years professional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. 

Skills and abilities 

  • Knowledge of Windows 10,Windows 11, , office tools , google workspace, and Client
    Management Tools. 
  • Familiarity with Problem Troubleshooting Techniques & Implementation of Automated Trouble
    Ticketing & Monitoring Systems.
  • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
  • Customer Service-Oriented Personality. 
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns, and work under pressure. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing English/Arabic.
