Dr. Eduard Lotz brings almost 30 years of experience in hospital management and has significant experience working in the Middle East.
His most recent position was as COO at HealthPoint, Mubadala, Abu Dhabi where he led governance, increased efficiency and effectiveness while driving best quality through introducing highest levels of clinical outcomes measures.
Before that, he was Managing Director and Group CMO at Anglo-Arabian Healthcare in Dubai, where he led the Northern Emirates group growth including commissioning a new multi-specialty, JCI accredited, hospital.
Dr. Lotz’s first experience in the Middle East as Director of Medical Affairs and Hospital Director in Kuwait.
Before moving to the Middle East, Dr. Lotz worked in the UK where he was Executive Director of the South West Treatment Centres, part of Care UK, where he led several pioneering projects including the development of the UK’s first fully mobile endoscopy units and treatment centers.
Dr. Lotz started his management career in South Africa, leading and turning around Somerset Hospital, and subsequently led Christiaan Barnard Memorial hospital.
Dr. Lotz is an MD by training from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, where he also obtained a Business Administration degree.
