Scope of service

  • Abdali Hospital’s tele-health service provides a consultation with a doctor over the phone or videoconference.
  • All doctors involved in Abdali Hospital’s telehealth service are Jordanian certified doctors and members of Jordanian Medical Association & Jordanian Medical Council
  • The service is available to adults above 18 years old. Young adults and children below 18 years old can make an appointment through their authorised parent or caregiver
  • There are limitations to telehealth consultations and your doctor may require a follow up physical visit or tests if needed, only
  • Medications can be prescribed and sent to the patient by electronic format
  • You should not use our services in an emergency, or if you have a condition that you know will require a physical examination.

 

Terms and Conditions

  • The consultation shall be provided at the time of the agreed booked appointment between the Hospital and the patient, after receiving the payment.
  • Once this service has been logged into and the steps have been followed, this shall automatically constitute your acceptance as a visitor to the Terms and Conditions, as follows:
    • Acceptance for fees and method of payment. All payments are taken in Jordanian Dinars
    • Acceptance of Scope of Service
    • Acceptance by the patient to provide all required medical information whether orally during the consultation, or via email or any other method of electronic communications
    • Acceptance to record the call or videoconference for safety purposes
    • Acceptance that the medical history shall be recorded in the hospitals’ medical records
  • All information provided by the patient is strictly subject to Abdali Hospital’s privacy and confidentiality policies
  • The Hospital reserves the right to refuse to conduct a telephone or videoconference consultation for any reason
  • If the physician cancels the appointment for any reason, the hospital shall re-schedule at the earliest mutually convenient time for the patient. If re-scheduling is not possible, the patient shall be refunded for the full amount of the consultation paid
  • If the patient cancels the consultation before the appointment, a full refund shall be provided, if the cancellation is made 24 hours before the appointment.

 

Indemnification from liability

The patient hereby indemnifies the hospital, doctors, medical and other staff from all that is related to this service, and the patient shall take full responsibility towards the accuracy of all the information provided during the service.
