What we offer
Abdali Hospital’s oncologists and hematologists work in collaboration with teams of experts from every medical and surgical specialty for the care of cancer and blood diseases. These include various conditions and cancers of the blood and bone marrow, as well as cancers other organs and tissues.
The Hematology and Oncology department is composed of multidisciplinary teams of subspecialists that work together to address the disease while ensuring the patients have the best quality of life possible. Our multidisciplinary teams serve patients across all stages of the pathways: from screening, diagnosis and treatment including planning, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy (through a partner provider), research and trials, survivorship and support programs and palliative care.
Each case may have a different combination of diagnosis and treatments. Decisions are made by the team, in consultation with the patient and family.
Our team includes oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, specialist nurses in chemotherapy, pharmacists, and radiation therapy providers, physical therapists, dieticians, amongst other specialists.
