Abdali Hospital opens a new Obstetrics and Gynecology Department

Abdali Hospital has announced the recent opening of a new integrated Obstetrics and Gynecology Department covering all aspects of care to each patient. The department is led by highly trained specialists in the field, following the same multidisciplinary structure, international best practice protocols and focus on outcomes model already established in other departments at Abdali Hospital.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department includes a team of highly trained and experienced physicians, nurses, and midwives with an optimal mix of specializations to provide the best individualized care to each patient from adolescence, child-bearing age, menopause, and through the post-menopause years. The department provides a comprehensive range of services including obstetrics, general gynecology, minimally invasive gynecology surgery, urogynecology and pelvic floor disorders. The specialists at Abdali Hospital are trained in some of the most subspecialized advanced procedures in this area.
Complementing its obstetrics department, the hospital has also opened a neonatal unit, led by specialist physicians to ensure the wellbeing and safe care of newborns. The department benefits from close collaboration with other departments at the hospital, such as cardiology, nephrology, or endocrinology – to name a few – to provide comprehensive and critical care to patients with complications, that may require it. The Obstetrics and Gynecology department complements the Breast and Women’ Health Center covering aspects of female health including top regional specialists in breast, as well as a new menopause clinic, amongst other services.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Abdali Hospital facility has been designed to offer a warm and comfortable environment with modern amenities. It has spacious clinics with examination rooms equipped with the latest technologies and ultrasound. The maternity ward is exclusively dedicated to Obstetrics and Gynecology for maximum privacy and comfort of patients and newborn babies. The five labor and delivery rooms and the hospital’s general operating theatres are all equipped with the latest technology for emergency cases.
