Abdali Hospital is proud to launch its pediatric cardiac services equipped with the most advanced technology to ensure the best outcome for our patients
The services include the following:
- Outpatient Services and the cardiac catheterization lab : located on the 7th floor include dedicated clinics offering fetal cardiology, non-interventional, interventional pediatric cardiac services in addition to state-of-the-art Electrophysiology (EP) all in one place.
- Inpatient services include:
- State-of-the-art modular wall operating theatres
- Neonatal unit with 7 NICU beds in addition to 2 NICU isolation rooms
- An 11-bed ICU that caters to adult and pediatric patients with dedicated 6 beds for post-operative congenital heart surgery furbished with 6 pediatric ventilators.
- A full 25-bed pediatric floor
Pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery
Abdali Hospital’s Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery is a state of the art multidisciplinary highly subspecialised team composed of Pediatric cardiologists, Pediatric interventional cardiologists, Pediatric cardiac surgeon, cardiac anaesthetists, pediatric intensivists, paediatricians, neonatologists, perfusionist and specialist pediatric nurses.
They work together following the latest evidence-based protocols and guidelines to ensure the best outcomes.

Abdali Hospital is launching three services of excellence relating to pediatric cardiac services:
The Center for Congenital Heart Disease and Surgery;
The Center for Pediatric Heart Failure; and
The Clinic for Adult Congenital Disease as the pediatric cardiac patients grow older and need comprehensive care in future follow up.

- Simple Surgeries: ASD, VSD and PDA closures
- Moderately Complex Surgeries: Tetralogy of Fallot, Double Outlet Right Ventricle, Sub Aortic Membrane Resection, Vascular Rings and Slings, Aortic Coarctation Repair , Modified BT Shunts
- Complex Surgeries: Glenn Procedure, Completion of Fontan TCPC, Transposition of the Great Vessels, Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Repair, Interrupted Aortic Arch Repair, Cone Repair of the Tricuspid Valve, Aortic Valve repair and replacement, Pulmonary valve repair and replacement
