Abdali Hospital announces an agreement with the Social Security to provide occupational health services

Abdali Hospital has announced today a new agreement with the Social Security Corporation to treat patients suffering from work-related injuries and diseases. The Social Security is committed to providing the Jordanian workers with the best quality healthcare possible by establishing agreements with private hospitals across the Kingdom, including some of the top providers.

The Social Security covers the cost of service to treat employees across multiple organizations in Jordan that are affected by conditions incurred at work. The most common conditions typically range from trauma caused by falls and accidents, to burns, allergic reactions, minor wounds and cuts, amongst others. These conditions can have different levels of severity and in occasions require emergency care.

“Abdali Hospital is proud to be able to serve this important need”. Mr. Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh, Vice Chairman of Abdali Hospital said: “We are committed to look after the healthcare needs of our community. We have one of the most advanced Emergency Departments in the country. Our doctors and all our clinical staff are exceptionally skilled to look after the types of emergencies that we see at the workplace. It is a privileged to treat patients that get injured when doing their duty. We are grateful to the Social Security to their trust.”

Abdali Hospital will start receiving these patients from January 1st 2021.

Abdali Hospital is a 200-bed multispecialty hospital with the mission to provide best-practice patient-centred care and to promote research and education in Jordan and the MENA. The hospital started operations in the summer of 2019, offering comprehensive diagnostic services, outpatient clinics, emergency and all hospital services across over 17 specialties.
