Vitality Plus liver health - hepatitis screening
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that all adults aged 18 years or older undergo screening for hepatitis B and hepatitis C at least once during their lifetime. This also applies to pregnant women, who should be screened for these infections during every pregnancy. Moreover, people who are at an increased risk of contracting hepatitis B or hepatitis C should undergo screening as well. This includes individuals born to parents with hepatitis B, those with a history of injection drug use, and people with HIV or sexually transmitted infections, those with raised liver enzymes of unknown reason.
